In a galaxy far far away........

It was a crush to whole star wars fan base to loose their princess.

So this blog post well its a nod to the late Carrie Fischer.

Not only did she have a hilarious take on life and but shed light on bipolar disorder. Which was brave even with its challenges.

but really she was not only a sexual awaking for men.

She was a fighting warrior spirit that girls could look forward to everywhere.

It was great as a child to have female influences in film that were not only pretty but had a spirit that was to be reckoned with.

I wear this galaxy dress in pride with our fallen princess.

New Years 2017

Happy New Year. Well we made it and we didn't loose Betty White to the 20016 reaper. Thank goodness.

Is it just me or did some major reality of mortality hit us this 20016 with the loss of so many musicians, actors, and with the political exhaustion we have been put through.

I'm going to count the happy moments for this one. why dwell its a new year after all.

Lets see 2016 gave me a home, my sister visiting, my mom visiting, my sister and brother in law now live closer and I get to see my niece and the new addition my nephew. I got an incredibly sweet basset hound thanks to my husband. I got to see one of my best friends get married.

Another one got engaged and is having a new bundle herself. My dearest of friends got a new home and a backyard for her pups. I got to spend time with family and friends on my trip to the B-Lo. X-mas with my husbands side of the family. One of the best was to have a backyard for my basset Callahan to folic in because although that's sad I got the ultimate dream accomplished. So yeah a lot of good happened.

What better way to celebrate than wearing my new years eve dress. Surprise its from Bernie Dexter. Ya know because Favorites. HaHa.

It has the cutest champagne detail at the bottom and confetti through out the whole dress. It seemed appropriate for this look back at 2016 occasion.

Have yourself a merry little xmas

Well it that magical time of year! I've decided to go with a Modcloth dress this year.

someone wanted to share in the festivities or maybe it was the sun.

This is our new pup Wimbleton , my husband surprised me with this rescue pup which was an amazing surprise since we lost our beloved basset hound Callahan. Wimbleton is a perfect fit for us.

The best part is our study is coming along. Its getting cozy which is perfect for fires and this season which strangely the snow is melting and its like 40 degrees, But hey fireplaces, hot cocoa and cuddles yeah sounds good to me.
