Dynamism of a Dog

One of my favorite paintings when I was a little girl was Dynamism of A Dog on a Leash (1912) by Giacomo Balla, it resides in the Albright Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo New York.

This Futurism painting depicts the wonderful movement of dogs, and I've been a animal lover since I got my beloved Vizsla; Sparky at the tender age of 5 , there is very rarely a dog I don't automatically love. Don't get me wrong I love a good kitty or two .......or three. There is defiantly something with in my soul that turns to sunshine jelly and gets all melty by the time I see a dog.
I mean I even have this hanging in my house to honor my sweet son !!!!!!

Painting below by Tyler Adams

I will call all dogs puppies. Giant Great Danes, Boxers, even 10 year old Maltese's. Even my 8 year old basset hound fur baby is still a puppy in my eyes. He is the cutest isn't he?

Little known fact my pup has been published in an art project called Project Dog by Kira Stackhouse.

Balla's painting was the first art that had a dog as the subject matter that I'd ever seen so it is imbedded in my soul because lets face it I'm a dog lover and the influence came to me at a young age. Being that I'm a dog lover its only natural that, yes I've got an inspired out fit for celebrating that trait within myself.

This dress is a Bernie Dexter and is a fit and flare circle skirt swing dress.

Oh look its my moms little pup!!!! She's a Jack Russell Terrier and is soooo cute!

I mean  come one you didn't expect me to not have a dog in this post right?
