Well it that magical time of year!  I've decided to go with a Modcloth dress this year.

 

someone wanted to share in the festivities or maybe it was the sun.

 

 

This is our new pup Wimbleton , my husband surprised me with this rescue pup which was an amazing surprise since we lost our beloved basset hound Callahan. Wimbleton is a perfect fit for us.

The best part is our study is coming along. Its getting cozy which is perfect for fires and this season which strangely the snow is melting and its like 40 degrees, But hey fireplaces, hot cocoa and cuddles yeah sounds good to me.

Since its Halloween  month I  thought it would be fun to become a one of my favorite characters  from supernatural. First step you need the car.

 

 

 

Second step you need to wait around for the pesky Winchester brothers.

 

 they always keep you waiting.

 

I mean is this why I fell from heaven?

 

to just wait around for these

 

guys while they are off beating demons.

 

evil spirits, vampires, ghosts,

 

checking on their burning mom on the ceiling.

 

I guess I will be waiting a while.

 

I could call Lilith to give me a hand or Crowley.

Veggin out

Currently my husband is doing a remodel in our house. after a long week all I want to do is veg out.
Hence this tongue and cheek ode to this dress.

Ja Adore Paris

 

I've always loved the thought of visiting Paris.

To walk in the Louvre, and let eyes feed among all the art. To visit the Nike in person.

 

To walk in the rooms of Versailles

 

To sit in a café and simply eat a pain du chocolate.

 

To view the Eiffel tower.

 

 

This Dress by Retrospecd is just perfect for me to dream in until I make it there one day.

You say tomato, I say tamato.

My husband and I have almost finished remodeling one of our rooms. We have been working on our home this whole summer and we are starting to see our vision come together. we have a tri-level house that we are converting into a craftsman style home. My husband designed and built the mantel, book shelves, as well as the ceiling beams, and wainscot. Together we assembled it all together as well as electrical and dry walling and taping a ceiling.

 

The dress of the day is oldie, but a goody Bernie Dexter .

 

The details that were my baby are colors. I picked out the sconces and tiffany style lamps. They remind me of Frank Lloyd Wright designs so I was all about it.

 

We are not quite done yet but I'm pretty proud of the effort so far!
